Receding Gums Treatment

Many things happen as people grow older. Receding gums are one of them. However, aging is not the only cause of receding gums. This is a common occurrence and can happen for a variety of reasons.

Normally the gums cover the root of the tooth. When the root is exposed, the gums have receded. Also known as gingival recession, this happens with nearly 90% of people over 65 years of age. Gingival recession can happen to many teeth or just one or two.
