First Visit
Welcome to Parklane Family Dentistry, where your first visit as a new patient is the beginning of a great investment in your oral health. Our practice provides easy check-in and check-out. We also provide on-time scheduling so your visit will run smoothly. Feel free to enjoy all the amenities we provide for your convenience and comfort. If there is something you need or want, just let us know.
During Your Appointment
If you have completed your forms online, you will not need to fill them out in the office. You will quickly be taken back to one of our treatment rooms. Once there, you will have an opportunity to get to know some of the staff who will be attending to you during your visit.
We take digital x-rays of your teeth and jaws so we can see what is happening below the surface. Your gums will be checked by our hygienist to determine if there is any gum disease or if you require periodontal care. Checking your gums and teeth provide information regarding the type of professional cleaning that will be the most beneficial for you. The hygienist will also do some charting to help with drawing up a treatment plan if necessary.
Once the hygienist has completed the first phase of your exam, you will have a more in-depth exam with Dr. Vashisht. She will study the charting and the x-rays and explain where you stand with your oral health. She will also check your teeth again and give the soft tissues of your mouth a screening. You may have questions at this point. Be sure to ask about anything that you do not understand or that brings up concerns for you.
The hygienist and Dr. Vashisht will work together to create a dental treatment plan that will address all the issues revealed through the exam. If time allows, some simple procedures may be done immediately. Those items requiring more time will be addressed at another appointment. All procedures that are required or recommended will be explained thoroughly to you so you will know what to expect.

I just recently started visiting Park Lane Dentistry after being absent from a dentist for a VERY long time (Just your average fear of someone poking around your teeth.) However, I can easily say after my 3rd visit now, I have no problems scheduling my next one. As soon as you walk in the door you’re greeted with a warm smile and instantly feel like a weight is lifted off your shoulders. The team makes sure you’re very well taken care of every minute of your visit (including time of procedure). I HIGHLY recommend them if you’re looking for a dentist in the area.

One of the few times I’ve had a good experience at the dentist. All the staff is super friendly. The dentist could tell I was really nervous and she did a great job at putting my nerves at ease by explaining everything she was doing throughout the procedure.

She helped fix my dental issues, resulting in a vast improvement in my smile!. My family is now going to her for dental issues as well, after I referred them to her.
